Bearrito Barito
Today is such an exciting day, because it’s Agung‘s 30th birthday! Woohoo! To celebrate, we’re going to hang out together all day, but let’s go back in time to our latest hangout session for a bit, shall we? Things have been getting better here in Jakarta, so we decided to explore the town.
Last week we visited this cute little Mexican place in Barito called Bearrito—clever, right? The place is small and al fresco is the only acceptable dine-in option. We ordered Paolo Adobado Burrito and Quesadilla—my favourite!—with a side of Guacamole and Pico de Gallo. Not only do they serve the yummiest tex mex, but they also make their own tropical soda—it’s available in Pineapple and Mango. Honestly, so refreshing!
The place was pretty empty, though, which was a wonder since the food is so good and place is pretty nice. We entertained the idea of living right next door to this place—imagine being able to just walk there every now and then. If you want to dine in, though, remember the 30-minute time limit.

It feels like it’s been forever since the last time I posted an outfit—and outside of home too. I almost completely forgot how to put on a whole look. As always, though, I started with a similar colour scheme as the location—notice the blue on blue?—and shake up my style again with an oldie but goodie. Namely, Book of Deer.
To be frank, I haven’t worn this dress often since the first time I wore it—especially on the blog—because there was an ironing mishap and it burnt a pretty big hole on the back of the dress. Needless to say, it broke my heart and I stopped wearing it for a while. But it was always hanging there, flirting with me and asking me to wear it.
At some point, I decided to do it again—because I just couldn’t resist, I mean that’s why I bought it in the first place. So I did, once even on the blog. Well, moral of the story is don’t give up on your favourite dress even with a gaping hole on it—especially by a designer that you’ve admired for years. Maybe its newest flaw could add to its chic value.
