Lately, I’ve been pretty excited about making plans for the future. Just life-changing goals, taken through small steps. While I usually set goals alone, this time I’m making it with my love Agung. You know, for the past decade or so, I’ve felt like I’m always chasing something—impatient to get to the next step, because I felt rather behind.
Now, for the first time in a long time—or perhaps even the first time in my entire life, I feel a little bit more settled. I have a happy, healthy relationship and a great, aspiring job and an established higher education. For the first time ever, I feel like everything starts to fall into place. While that is the dream—and it’s a damn good one—it can also feel unsettling to not shoot for the stars anymore. Also, there are still a lot of dreams I have yet to reach—so planning for the future is always fun, especially when you do it with someone special.
It got me rethinking my 30 Before 30 List and I think I want to modify it a little bit this year. A lot of items on that list were written when I was 26 and in a relationship with someone else—that definitely clouded my judgment—and are no longer relevant. Stay tuned for the updated version on my birthday this October!

On this particular day, Agung and I explored a new place we haven’t discovered before: Senayan Park. It’s a new semi-outdoor mall in my favourite corner of the city. Newly opened, it’s not very packed with vendors yet, but the visitors are already flooding in—especially families. It is a really great, open space for children to run around and adults to do all sorts of activities, i.e. aerobic class, afternoon snacking and photo taking—the most popular option, I must say. We did two of those three activities ourselves—I think you can guess which ones (lol).
It was perfect that we got there during golden hour too! The place looks really cheerful and nice, albeit a little chaotic from all the running and swerving children. I’m so glad to wear this outfit to such a lovely place—it’s been a while since I wore a dress on a dress. At first, I thought it looked crazy, but I really love how it turned out. Matches the vibe of the settings, no?
