Life Is More Bun-Tastic When You’re Around

Okay, phew, that has been a hot minute, hasn’t it? Although I’m sure most of you didn’t even notice that I took the week off the blog last week. Life has been a whirlwind of exciting work projects and personal developments and it has, surely, been taking a lot of my time. As you probably know, I moved on to a new workplace a month and a half ago—and it has been grand. My work here is both quite similar, yet so different from my previous station, in all the good ways.

The people I work with are so inspiring and fun to be around, and the projects so different and new for me—did you watch our Online Class yesterday? Not to mention the side hustle that I have, with exciting things in the works—more on this later, hopefully. Needless to say, they have been keeping me hectic and swamped for the majority of the week. Boy, am I glad for the weekend!

What I always try to keep in mind is to spare time for what matters at all times—especially my significant other—which why, despite being busy, I still meet up with Agung almost everyday, plus the weekend. Last week, in fact, we went to this burger joint we’ve been meaning to try for the past 2 months or so. However, due to the pandemic and LSSR, we haven’t been able to make it happen—until now. They call it “The Shake Shack with Local Indonesian Taste,” so we were dying to try it.

First of all, we loved the vibe of the place—it has such a cute branding and lovely interior! The burgers also tasted very fresh, with a hint of high quality in it. We tried the Guzzbun Original, Guzzbun Beef Bacon and Guzz Bacon Cheese Fries—they were all splendid! The patty, in particular, tasted really amazing, the bacon wonderfully juicy and don’t get me started on the cheese. I love that they provided juice, fresh lemon tea and lettuces—pretty healthy choices. We were the last ones to leave—it was that good!
