Exhibit A: Perihal

Lately, I’ve been going to more and more exhibitions. It helps to have a very close friend who’s always up for exhibition-hopping. You might notice his name popping in here more often these days. Last week was no exception. After swooning over their instagram, we finally visited Prihal: Arsitektur andramatin at Galeri Nasional. It’s an architecture exhibition showcasing some of the best works, concepts, materials and behind-the-scenes of a local architecture studio founded by the one and only Andra MatinIn case you don’t know, he is the big name in the Indonesian architecture industry and truly a legend, if I may say so myself.

The exhibition was really well curated—the flow of the whole event was executed perfectly—and the designs were incredibly awe inspiring. I love the way the curators divided the sections. My favourite would have to be the replica of their office. It looked so true to life and very engaging! Unfortunately, we weren’t allowed to bring our camera in, so we only had some phone-quality photos to show for it—which you might have seen on my stories before.

Now, on to the outfit. If you remember my last post, you might remember that I went on a little thrifting spree at a garage sale—in which I managed to snag three gorgeous items. These pants are one of them. Lately, due to my ever growing body mass, I haven’t been able to fit into most of my old pants, giving me no choice but to wear more skirts. After a few years, however, of course I miss wearing pants too. You could only imagine my elation upon finding this beauty on the pile at the sale.

Without much time to try it on, I decided to snatch it. I don’t remember the last time I owned a pair of fabric pants like this, with a loose cut and all. But, damn, it’s my new favourite thing. Who could’ve guessed that I got them for only IDR 15K! That’s a complete steal, if you ask me. I absolutely love wearing it to work, making me feel transformed into an actual career woman. What else do you think I should pair them with? I’d love to explore the style!
